The hemostatic effect of Botropase in general surgical patients

Abstract

|
|
33 surgical patients were treated with Botropase to evaluate the hemostatic effect of this drug. Botropase was given to these patients pre-operatively, intraoperatively and post-operatively and was evaluated in terms of blood loss during operation. Hemostatic effect of Botropase was acceptable to minimize t -le oozing and bleeding in the opration field during operation. No complication was observed from -Botropase injection.
